Terms of Service for Matric Mastery

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Matric Mastery application (the "Service") operated by us.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

1. Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.

2. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle").
  • We use a semi-manual reconciliation process for EFT/PayShap payments. A subscription is only activated once a payment has been manually verified and approved by our team. We strive to complete this process within 1-2 business days.
  • You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via the Service.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Matric Mastery. The questions, analytics engine, and platform design are protected by copyright.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Share your account credentials with any other individual.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise discover the source code of any part of our question bank or recommendation engine.
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for accuracy, Matric Mastery does not warrant that the content is error-free or that it guarantees a specific academic result. Our Service is a tool to aid your studies, not a substitute for formal education or diligent personal effort. In no event shall Matric Mastery be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or academic standing.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
